Amy McCann

Amy McCann is a Denver native with a passion for urban design and sustainability.  Over the last several years of her career, she has worked with large, multi-office architecture firms on projects within both the private and public sectors.  Most recently, Amy has held a specific focus on educational projects.  Amy is a licensed architect in Colorado, has a strong graphic design eye, and has become technology savvy in 3D BIM programs.  She is also a passionate advocate for historic context and preservation issues within the context of her work and beyond.

In her recent positions, Amy helped lead several PK-8 school renovation and innovation improvement projects for Public School Districts around the Denver region.  In addition, she worked on the designs for new-build PK-8 School in Erie, Colorado and a PK-12 School in Hayden, Colorado. Serving as the Sustainability Advocate in her last full-time position, Amy also had the opportunity to drive environmentally smart design choices on several projects, within various sectors, and continues to drive these important discussions as a valued member of the SA+R team.
