West End 38 is a mixed-use development featuring ground-floor retail, structured parking, and 165 market-rate apartments. The four-story, 265,000+ square foot mixed-use development is being built on 3.3 acres in the northwest Denver walkable, neighboring community of Wheat Ridge.

The project was designed with minimal setbacks at the intersection of 38th Avenue and Upham Street, in the heart of the commercial district, so that it will architecturally anchor the intersection while also offering opportunities for outdoor dining and gathering for the ground floor retail tenants. A breezeway connecting the project’s core with Upham Street and the adjacent green space will enhance pedestrian connectivity as well. The building’s exterior envelope features a mix of masonry and steel detailing to fit within its surrounding community context. Upon a closer look, you will also find a few nods to this site’s connection to Wheat Ridge’s history and its place as the “Carnation Capitol of the World”. The project is slated for a late 2019 opening.
