The property is located at the western end of Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall and fronts both Pearl Street and Walnut Street, previously the location of the Boulder Daily Camera. The 160,000 sf program is an exciting mix of uses including retail, restaurants, office, a fitness facility, small theaters, and below grade parking. A public plaza, fronted by restaurants, contributes to the active West End neighborhood and terminates a cross block pedestrian connection between Walnut and Pearl. A rooftop deck with dramatic views of Boulder’s mountain backdrop is accessed by the public from Walnut and includes a restaurant/bar, rooftop terrace, and lap pools serving the fitness program. A 34-foot tall topographic relief model of the Front Range activates the atrium space. This infill re-development is an important new complement to Boulder’s already successful downtown.
