Our Interior Design team consists of a nimble, passionate group of designers with experience in a variety of project types and scales. We are currently looking for an Interior Designer with 10+ years of experience to fulfill a leadership role for our interiors team.

Preferred Qualifications for this Position:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Interior Design
  • 10+ years of Interior Design experience
  • NCIDQ Certified
  • WELL AP
  • Mentor experience with multiple team members simultaneously
  • Experience in project staffing and future staffing projections
  • Business Development experience: foster client relationships and embark on new opportunity leads for the firm
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of rendering processes
  • Thorough knowledge and ability to mentor others in furniture, finish, and lighting sourcing from local and global vendors
  • Expert in all phases of a project: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, FF&E, and construction administration
  • Experience in specification writing
  • Knowledge of design principles and working knowledge of construction methods
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Team oriented and a willingness to be engaged in all aspects of the practice

Responsibilities 

  • Lead design team from initial project stages through construction and installation while providing mentorship
  • Initiate and guide overall interior design team vision by applying group direction and goals
  • Lead and manage work intake and overall design project assignment process, including developing project schedules and quality of project deliverables
  • Delegate project tasks and responsibilities
  • Build and sustain client relationships – act as the primary design interface with clients, team members, and a wide range of consultants
  • Managing new business through client reference, effective networking and marketing efforts pertaining to Interior Design
  • Responsible for financial aspects including budgets, proposals, and invoices
  • Identifying financial goals and market potentials for design opportunities
