Just a few blocks from the SAR+ office, this new “aparthotel” offers micro-units for both extended stay residents and short-term hotel visitors. The 12 story building on a 6,125 SF site will include 89 units, a ground floor café/lobby space, and a leasable private event space with an outdoor deck featuring city skyline views.
The building’s form and materials respond to the historic Lower Downtown (LoDo) context. The first nine floors are enveloped in carefully coursed and detailed light-colored masonry, behind which is dark colored metal clad tower, set back and rising above. The upper stories of the dark metal massing contain larger units with living rooms and projecting glass balconies, while those units on the transitional set back, from the masonry to the metal portion, feature vegetated terraces.
