Macy’s Office Conversion
Boulder, ColoradoAn adaptive reuse of the existing Macy's anchor building at the north end of the outdoor Twenty Ninth Street Mall. The existing windowless big box will be taken down to the existing structure and reskinned in curtain wall and ACM. The existing westernmost bay and interior bays will be removed to create a plaza and 2 light wells to drive daylight down into the lowest level, which is partially below grade. A large roof deck will be created, providing fantastic views of the Flatirons and Front Range.
