This project sits between the traditional red-brick warehouse buildings of LoDo and the contemporary aesthetic of the Museum of Contemporary Art and its surrounding residential context. 288 apartment units are organized into three “bars”, two simply detailed in white masonry that allow the third, clad in metal, to span between them. Common amenities sit below the metal bar offering city views on one side and the Rocky Mountains on the other. Walk up units, consistent with the surrounding townhomes along Delgany Street, and a new event space for the MCA provide an active appropriately scaled mixed-use base to the building.
