Dairy Block was recently recognized with a Remix Award at this year’s Historic Denver Award Celebration. The Remix Award is a brand new category honoring a project that dynamically integrates an old building with new construction. Dairy Block, completed with partner architect Johnson Nathan Strohe (JNS), successfully executed an urban infill plan which reused the site’s three historic buildings and added a contextually sensitive modern office building, a hotel, and an activated urban alley offering prime restaurant and retail store frontage in the space between old and new buildings.
