AHEC Student Housing (Mass Timber)
Denver, ColoradoLocated at the northern edge of the Auraria Campus, the new MSU Denver Housing and Mixed-Use Building is a key step forward in the evolution of the urban campus. Overlooking the Tivoli Quad and directly engaging with the future 5280 Trail, this 12-story building strengthens the campus’s connection to the city while supporting student life and academic success.
Set to become Denver’s first high-rise mass timber project, the building combines sustainability with forward-thinking design. It will include 584 beds—MSU Denver’s first on-campus student housing—as well as a public food hall, classroom-to-career hub, and resident life offices.
By introducing around-the-clock activity and enhancing connections across campus to the city, the project supports Auraria’s role as a dynamic, integrated urban campus—bringing students and community together in one place.
