MyBlock Wash Park
Denver, ColoradoThe 5-story MyBlock Wash Park residential building was completed in 2015 and is located on the corner of North Washington Street and Speer Boulevard in Denver’s residential Washington Park neighborhood. The building is home to 107 residential rental units, a 108-car garage, and extensive amenity spaces.
The program organization is influenced by the contrast between busy Speer Boulevard and the quiet respite of Washington Street. The active lobby and fitness areas are located on Speer Boulevard, whereas ground-level entry stoops engage the pedestrian friendly neighborhood along Washington Street. The well-ordered large format masonry mid-section of the building provides a common language between the two expressive facades, and materials and massing also respond to the street frontage at the ground floor and rooftop levels.
The building stands out from the high rental competition in the Denver market with its rooftop amenity deck. A Carrara marble infinity pool, a rooftop cabana bar, a community grilling area and herb garden all offer expansive mountain and city skyline views.
