The Bike Hub
The Bike Hub at Union Station was designed in 2015 to serve as a secure location for commuters to leave their wheels during the day across from Union Station on 16th Street. The need for this facility was identified by the Downtown Denver Partnership after a transit-focused survey identified this safety concern as one prohibiting the expansion of bicycle commuting downtown.
The 2,800-square-foot building would sit on the ground level, above a parking structure adjacent to the recently-renovated Union Station.
The project was ultimately tabled as subsequent research identified alternative priorities for increasing bicycle commuting.
