Announcing New Firm Principals
Shears Adkins Rockmore (SAR+) is pleased to announce the promotion of two long-time firm leaders to the role of Principal within the company. The two new Principals, Dan Craig, AIA, LEED AP and Patrick Bohler, RA, CDT, LEED AP had both served as Senior Associates at the architecture, interior design, and planning practice since 2019.
Dan Craig, AIA, LEED AP – Dan has been practicing architecture in Denver for twenty years and has a diverse background in project type and scale. He joined the SAR+ team in 2016. Over the years, Dan has been fortunate to be a leading creative voice on a number of great educational and cultural projects in the Denver area, including roles at the Denver Botanic Gardens, The DU Burwell Center for Career Achievement, Meow Wolf, and several new projects at Colorado Academy. He is currently engaged in urban design and planning efforts at the University of Denver, Ball Arena, and Winter Park.
In addition to his commitment to and passion for architecture and design, Dan is an advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion in our office and industry-wide, including ongoing initiatives within SAR+ and numerous committees and engagements with the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Patrick Bohler, RA, CDT, LEED AP – Patrick Bohler has been practicing architecture for nearly 30 years, joining SAR+ in 2015. While Patrick’s project experience includes extensive multi-family and hospitality design, his primary area of focus is on the technical execution and constructability of a building. He has become an outspoken mentor within the firm and across the local professional architecture industry, and plays a large role in ensuring all SAR+ projects are thoroughly reviewed and maintain our high standard of execution.
Patrick believes that strong communication, documentation, and an established quality assurance plan are the keys to successful project delivery. This approach has led to his adding tremendous value to dozens of projects across the studio.
Dan and Patrick were named Principals at the start of 2023 and look forward to the continued evolution and success of SAR+ as it enters its third decade of practice.
