Crystal McCloyn

Design Professional

Born and raised in the Southeast, Crystal moved to Denver in 2025 to join SAR+. Crystal was not only drawn by the professional opportunity, but also by Colorado’s vibrant outdoor lifestyle. She brings four years of experience in higher education and multi-family housing design, with a focus on creating thoughtful, sustainable spaces. As a Passive House Certified Designer, Crystal is committed to integrating high-performance building strategies into every project. Her design approach is rooted in a deep respect for place- a grounded belief that meaningful architecture begins with an understanding of community and the natural environment.

Outside of the studio, she enjoys exploring new places and draws inspiration from the diversity of landscapes, cultures, and experiences she encounters. Crystal also enjoys traveling to new places, biking, and silversmithing.
