Matthew Breen’s father, also an architect, knew all along that that Matthew would become an architect – even though Matthew didn’t know it himself until college. Despite starting out as a business major, Matthew graduated with a degree in architecture. After school, he moved to Denver – the place he now calls home and the city in which he obtained his Master’s in Architecture. In his 6 year career, he’s worked on multi-family and single family dwellings, both market rate and low-income. Matthew enjoys that architecture has given him a wide range of experience – he’s designed a multi-million dollar condo in Tahoe, and he’s designed homes that serve folks experiencing homelessness. In 2020, Matthew found his way to SAR+ and he brings with him an unmatched enthusiasm for designing spaces, not objects.
