Meet our team.
There’s a shared passion for thoughtful architecture, and everyone takes real ownership of the work. It’s also an entrepreneurial environment where people are encouraged and supported in exploring new ideas, interests, and opportunities within the firm.

Macy Huffaker is a forward-thinking architect with over eight years of experience in the Denver area. Her journey into architecture began in Louisiana, where she developed a deep interest in integrating the landscape with natural building materials and designing housing solutions for underserved communities.

Macy’s passion for sustainable architecture has led her to specialize in mass timber construction. As the lead architect on the Mines Park Housing project, she oversaw the design of five hybrid mass timber/wood-framed student housing buildings on the Colorado School of Mines campus. Her expertise in mass timber and student housing continues to evolve as she currently serves as the project architect for a 12-story mass timber student housing development at Metropolitan State University of Denver—an innovative project that will be the university’s first residence hall.

Beyond her project work, Macy is dedicated to fostering a collaborative culture within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. She actively mentors emerging architects, shares her knowledge, and seeks out opportunities to collaborate on innovative solutions that advance the field of architecture.
