Joining SAR+ in 2025, Shelby brings over seven years of experience in commercial design. Her journey in architecture began in Kentucky, where she developed a passion for crafting spaces that blend functionality, creativity, and connection. Shelby has a background in healthcare, education, and most recently, animal care design. Shelby’s unique background in animal care allows her to design environments that are thoughtful of the needs of both people and animals, ensuring the spaces she creates support the well-being of everyone who experiences them.
Shelby is enthusiastic about shaping the future of design and creating spaces that not only meet practical needs but also inspire and engage the people who experience them. She is driven by a deep commitment to crafting places that foster creativity, collaboration, and lasting impact.
Outside of her design work, Shelby enjoys traveling to new places, capturing the world through her photography, and tending to her garden at home, where she finds peace and inspiration in nurturing both plants and ideas.
