Alastair Huber is from Canada’s Denver, Calgary Alberta. After having lived in Boston and Chicago, he move to Denver on a whim and has been working in our city’s architectural community for over 20 years. He is a past chair of the Colorado Building Enclosure Council and is focused on meeting sustainability through longevity. Alastair has had experience with many building and construction types ranging from airports, hospitals, education, and multi-family.
Alastair had a quick stint at a building forensic firm where he reviewed several drawing sets produced by SAR+. Having proven to himself that architecture is really where he needs to be, he got in touch with one of SAR’s principals and has been at SAR+ since. He took over managing our WonderBlock project from Design Development and is currently overseeing construction of this large mixed-use development of 6 buildings in Ogden, Utah. Alastair is a hands-on type of architect who also does AIA accredited presentations on the building envelope to the SAR+ office.
