Lidia West
ArchitectA design-oriented architect and a lifelong learner, Lidia brings an insatiable curiosity and strategic mindset to every project. Her work spans a diverse range—from single-family residences and renovations of historic landmarks to dynamic commercial offices and recreational venues—each infused with a rigorous attention to context, materiality, and human experience.
Lidia’s commitment to architecture as both an intellectual pursuit and a social act was first recognized with the 2017 AIA Utah Honor Award, received as a part of CU Denver student team that designed and constructed a community hall in Moab, Utah. In 2022, Lidia’s passion for vernacular architecture earned her the AIA Colorado Hobart G. Wagener FAIA Traveling Scholarship, enabling research into the typologies of traditional Japanese residential architecture.
A problem solver at heart, Lidia values resourcefulness, curiosity, and grit—not simply as traits, but as guiding principles in design and practice. Whether navigating the complexities of adaptive reuse or crafting site-sensitive new construction, her work reflects a belief that architecture must be as thoughtful as it is beautiful.
In her free time Lidia enjoys spending time with her family – seeking adventures, rock climbing, skiing, and gardening.
