SAR+

Matthew is an experienced architectural design professional and project manager with over a decade of practice in multifamily and mixed-use design, with a particular focus on workforce housing developments. He has been a key member of SAR+ Architects since 2020 and he has led several significant projects, including the Deer Valley Workforce Housing, Mines Park Student Housing, and Winter Park Workforce Housing. In addition, Matthew has contributed to a variety of other notable SAR+ projects, such as the Colfax & Franklin Apartments & Restoration, the Ralston Commons development, 37th & Downing Apartments, and the Tapestry Block affordable and workforce housing project.
Originally from Albuquerque, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Architecture, along with a Design-Build Certificate, from the University of Colorado Denver. Since moving to Denver in 2012, Matthew has honed his expertise in architectural design, project management, and the development of impactful, community-oriented housing solutions. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys Denver’s vibrant music scene, traveling, cooking, playing hockey and spending quality time with his dogs.
